Chanpionship Point
●FIA sanctioned world championship for Group N class inaugurated last year to replace the former Gr-N Cup. Starting from Swedish Rally in February, total of 7 rounds are registered.
Championship is fought between the series nominated drivers, and 20 drivers are entered including Toshihiro Arai. Out of these 7 rounds, each driver is to enter 6 rounds applied in advance, and the competition is between the total of points attained in the 6 rounds. There are many one-off entries by the local Group N drivers in their local events; however, they are not the subjected to the Championship.
The cars entering in the Production Car World Rally Championship is limited in the areas to be modified, and is a category which truly evaluates the potential of the based car.
●PCWRC Driver's Points are given to drivers finishing in 1st to 8th place, in order of 10pts, 8pts, 6pts, 5pts, 4pts, 3pts, 2pts and 1pt in nomineted rounds.
